Building 51, RMIT

Morgan McKenna was the principal consultant for the refurbishment of Building 51 on the RMIT city campus. This building is a key facility for the university's Carlton campus and has traditionally been a base for TAFE & VET programs. The building is an eight storey structure with seven floors of education uses and a part basement level for car parking and plant. The building area for education uses is approximately 8400 square metres.

The key tasks for this commission include the upgrading of the building services / core areas to the upper floors and refurbishment of toilets, lobbies and circulation areas to contemporary standards.
